Poured a slippery black-mahogany-copper with no head. Nose of sweet, roasted, peaty malt. Molasses, toffee, and stale malt flavor. Kind of smoky. Not very smooth and very watery.

Bottle: Pours a dark brown with a khaki head. Aroma, doughy malts, nutty, some roasted notes, and some chocolate. Flavor, roasted malts, chocolate, nutty, caramel. With a dry roasty finish. Pretty good.

Pours basically light black, with quickly fading light tan head. Smell is malty and very nutty. Taste is nutty, slight notes of coffee, low carbonation and rich with a light nutty bitter finish. Interesting beer for sure, and reminds me of a thick nut brown ale.

12 oz. bottle from Plaza Liquors - Pours a dark brown color with a one and a half finger thick light tan head. Very light lacing. Aroma is roasted malt and dark esters. Flavor is roasted malt with hints of coffee and smoke. This beer is quite easy on the palate. An easy drinking medium body beer. Worth a try.

Full brown body with a decent, actively carbonated head. Moderate dusty roast chocolate mingles with malt in the nose. Moderate roast body, with some bitter chocolate notes on the finish and a touch of burnt chocolate. Medium mouthfeel and medium malt. Brief appearance of caramel raisin at the end. Perhaps some nuttiness. A rather middle of the road dunkel.

This dark brown ale poured with a thick beige head and a bacon aroma. The flavor is roasted malt that is a bit smoky, with some toffe and raisin.
