The aroma is rich caramel and molasses. The flavor has roasted malt, some molasses, and ceramy light chocolate. Medium-light to medium body. This is a good dark lager.

Pours a semi-clear brownish amber brew with a thin tan head that slowly dissipates. Aroma of roasted dark malt, a touch of banana esters, Baker’s chocolate and some caramel, Taste is medium bodied, light carbonated, with flavors of roasted dark malt, some flowery hops, a touch of chocolate and roasted nuts. Finish is semi-sweet, smooth with a light caramel aftertaste that quickly disappears. Lightly roasty chocolate flavor that builds as it warms. Fruity finish with just a light hopping to balance it out. Pours a beautiful mahogany with a soft khaki head. Dark copper pour, khaki colored head, some lacing. Sweet aroma - some chocolate, raisins, hints of molasses. Flavor is quite full-bodied - some pipe tobacco, raisins, caramel, cola. Good rib sticking Dunkel. Thick enough mouthfeel. Color me slightly impressed.
