Bottled. A golden beer with a fast disappearing head. The aroma is sweet mainly with notes of malt, but also hints of straw. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of straw and citrus, as well as hints of flowers, leading to a dry, slightly bitter, and crisp finish.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a very small sized head of foamy finely sized bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a transparent softly carbonated orange white colored body. The aroma was malty smoky and dirty. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt and mild hops. An OK brew just nothing special.

bottle - Pours clear golden with a light pale malt aroma. A few mouthfuls makes it clear that this beer is a light, sweet, refreshing brew and it’s very easy to finish the bottle too quickly. Some light hops round out the flavor. It’s a little too thin and a bit bland, but it’s alright.

Bottled. Poured clear bright golden with a short cap of white head. The aroma picked up sweet bready notes, lemon zest, wheat, and some grains.. corn-like adjuncts roll in on the back, but this was still sweeter and rather pleasant. The flavor had a tacky corn, honey, and lemony base with wheat and lemony tartness surrounding.. sharp tart notes and a not-so-pleasant sweetness linger on the finish. Light-bodied and it wanted to be refreshing, but the tacky feel at the back wouldn’t allow it.

Savannah, Ga. - Haversham Beverage Warehouse - 12 oz bottle. Very pale golden pour with a slight white spritzy head, decent bubble action. Fairly neutral aroma, hint of fresh lake water, some metal. Some faint buttery notes in the flavor, a hint of spiciness, but not much else. A bit of stickiness in the mouthfeel, but pretty uneventful. Overall, quite bland.

11/02/2007: Eisenbahn Dourada Brazilian Golden Ale pours a transparent golden color with a mild level of carbonation and a small foamy white head that quickly disappears. The aroma is malty, a bit sweet, and reminds me of sweet boubon or whisky. The flavor is also malty (lots of pale malt with a touch of crystal/caramel) with a moderate level of fruitiness and sweetness. This beer is nicely balanced with a dry finish. It has a medium-light body, is pretty smooth, and very palatable overall.

12 fl oz bottle (Batch No. 09) from 5000. Thanks Andre! Rating #35 for this beer...
