Commercial Description:
Eisenbahn Lust is the first beer in Brazil produced by the "champnoise" method. After the normal fermentation and maturation in the brewery, the liquid is sent to a winery, where it stays for three months and passes by the traditional process of champagne production. It has fruit aroma and refreshing flavor. Presents fine and plentiful "perlage". It is ideal as appetizer and for pairing with dessert and great celebrations!

Clear gold colored body with a huge white head. Faint, clean pils-like malt nose with a moderately yeast presence, and some chemical scents. Very carbonated and effervescent, with a biting and sharp flavor of candy sugar, hay and grains. Makes me burp.

This poured a bright gold with a huge white head. This beer was eager to leave the bottle, in fact, this beer poured out all over Duane’s table. The aroma was funky bubblegum along with pears and cinnamon. About what I expect from a Belgian strong. The taste was leathery cinnamon pears. This had a smooth body with a pleasantly spicy finish. Nicely made.

750ml bottle shared by Heemer77, thanks Eric. looks more like a blush wine than a beer. has a fruity brett aroma with a similar flavor. too much carbonation for me.

750mL bottle, courtesy of argo0. Thanks, Aaron! Pours a hazy, golden-orange color; strong, foamy white head with solid lacing. Strong honey and yeasty notes in the aroma; a bit too sticky sweet. Spritzy carbonation. Very dense, sweet honey and sticky sugar in the mouthfeel: not a very close resemblance to a fluffy, dry champagne; more of a chewy sugar and heavy malt bomb; pleasant enough but very sweet. Lengthy, sugar and honey finish.

Poured from a 750. Clear, corn yellow appearance. Old pineapple juice, ethanol, and cider aroma. Simplistic, heated, and formidable. Hot and prickly flavor of honey, alcohol, sugar syrups; dead pears and expansive fusels. Intolerable for the most part. Sharp and quite violent in the mouth like a gritty champagne infused with sour grain and chemicals. Finishes with more sugar, and a tinny maple glint, pushing the boundary of complete foulness altogether too far. Thanks for sharing, Aaron!

750mL, 2006 cork. Hazy orange yellow with a two finger off-white head, pretty good retention. Once the initial crazy high carbonation wears off a bit, white wine and white grapes, aromas of sweet stale caramel, a bit of yeast, and even some hints of richly sweet molasses. Strange aroma, but fits well. Flavor is much the same with the addition of some alcohol presence and smoke notes--not campfire ashiness though. Overall fairly sweet. Semi dry finish. High carbonation with a medium full body, but it is lightened from the champagne carbonation. Some of these aromas and flavors don’t make any sense (as far as I’m concerned), but surprisingly, they don’t make for a bad beer, even for a moment.

2006. explosive cork. pours a hazy orange with a ridiculous amount of lacing and a huge, growing, off-white head. aroma is fruity(apple, pear) with a touch of white wine, and tartness. flavor is sweet and fruity(apple, pear), white pepper, and yeasty with a hint of smoke. sharply carbonated, medium bodied, dry.

Beer is clear, medium caramel brown. Head is large, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing but lasting.
The nose is more beer-like than champagne-like. Malty with light notes of toasted bread, toasted grain; Hoppy with a light herbal note; Yeasty with a moderate note of barnyard-laced basement; Traces of dried pineapple, sherry and vanilla.
The flavor is moderately/heavily sweet, lightly/moderately bitter, lightly acidic with a long, warm, lightly acidic, moderately sweet, lightly bitter finish.
The body is light, the texture is watery and the carbonation is fizzy.
Wonderfully like sparkling wine while holding on to a nice, assertive BSA character.
