Commercial Description:
Eisenbahn Lust is the first beer in Brazil produced by the "champnoise" method. After the normal fermentation and maturation in the brewery, the liquid is sent to a winery, where it stays for three months and passes by the traditional process of champagne production. It has fruit aroma and refreshing flavor. Presents fine and plentiful "perlage". It is ideal as appetizer and for pairing with dessert and great celebrations!

750ml corked bottled. BB 03VAL03 2010...? Served lightly chilled in a pilsner glass. Probably a big mistake serving this in a thin glass and not fully chilled...gushed quite a bit...HUGE foamy white head atop a finely-beaded picturesque crystal clean golden body. Aroma typical of these ’Champagne-style’ beers; very sweet malt, honey and light toffee, ripe stonefruits, sharp citrus and peppery spice, bready yeast. Lively carbonation without being sharp, smooth, rich texture coats the mouth very nicely, the carbonation takes the edge of the thickness of the body. Sweet malt body builds a solid base; biscuit, golden syrup, honey, sponge cake, followed by notes of pear, ripe peach, raisin, apple cider, pepper and clove. Finish is warming, slight drying acidity, mild bitterness. One of the better "Champagne" beers out there. Bit cheaper than Deus, but its probably one of those beers that would only buy for special occasions or for a nice gift.

2006 Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Best by 07/2008. Explosive uncorking. Pours with a huge, foamy white head an a hazy orange body. Good retention. Very light aroma with alcohol, chardonnay grapes, cereal and honey. Taste is honey, cereal, alcohol, grape, pepper and diacetyl. Lively bubbles and sort of a buttery, high alcohol mouthfeel. Very similar to Deus in this respect.

Bottle. Body-dark yellow with a thin film of bubbles and a medium ring of bubbles. Nose-not much nose. Taste-high CO2, very stinging light melon, too much CO2, perfect sweetness, not a lot of flavor.
