Commercial Description:
Eisenbahn Lust is the first beer in Brazil produced by the "champnoise" method. After the normal fermentation and maturation in the brewery, the liquid is sent to a winery, where it stays for three months and passes by the traditional process of champagne production. It has fruit aroma and refreshing flavor. Presents fine and plentiful "perlage". It is ideal as appetizer and for pairing with dessert and great celebrations!

750 ml bottle thanks to xnoxhatex for popping open this champagne beer. After that cork popped this overflowed with a huge fizzy white head. Nose is citrus, grain, some herbal hops, yeast and really sweet. Along with the sweetness the alcohol begins poking out as the head slides down. Sweet malty grain flavors with more of that alcohol. It doesn’t taste 11.5% but it sure tastes as if there is too much booze here. The malt is too weak to back up all that alcohol and the faint herbal and grassy hops, aren’t very effective either.

Light unclear medium orange yellow amber color with a average, frothy, fair lancing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, light to moderate hoppy, orange, fruity, moderate yeasty, wood, peat and smoke notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (190608)

Thanks to ghawener. The best brazilian beer so far. I think they have labeled this beer incorrectly, is more like a tripel. Pours nicely, very bubbly, however, unlike champagne the head is persistent. Yeast aroma, flavor is sweet, and alcohol is well hidden.

At RateBeerians tasting session. Bottle: Large white head over an orange gold body. Strings of bubbles makes it elegant; taste is subtle slightly sweet, fruity and thin. Alcohol is dangerously well hidden.
