Commercial Description:
Eisenbahn’s South American Pale Ale is well-balanced, with sweet wholesome malt, and earthy complexity, and a uniquely spicy aroma that results from a special, and secret, blend of Old and New World hops.

Bottle at decaturstevo’s Februmergency Tasting for those of us that missed out on Sexual Chocolate ’09. Pours a clear light amber with small ring of offwhite head. Very fake chemical antiseptic nose with something like potpouri. Flavor is corn, and lots of hop bitterness which is not very well-balanced at all. Lots of hop spicyness on the finish. Didn’t really care for this at all

Pours a dark orange with a thin soapy white head. Pa;e malt and some hops in the odor. A light fruit flavor with some apricot, and very light citrus. Not a lot of hops to the taste, if any. It’s a refreshing enough beer, I just don’t know why they’re calling it a "pale ale".

Batch #20. 12oz, twist-off, amber colored bottle. Dark green label. Pours clear, orange-amber color, white rocky head, good lace. light aroma of pale malt, very simple. Basic herbal hop nose. Flavor is fruity, fruit essence from the yeast, very earthy, and a very light presence of hop citrus. Very light bodied, although it does state on the label it is a South American style Pale Ale. As opposed to N. American. This is really a Simple Amber Ale.

12oz bottle. Filtered golden tan color. Non offensive minimal aroma. Well carbonated, moderate spicy earthy hops, not so bitter. Rather thin and watery. Crisp and refreshing, a great session beer, but lacks some malt complexity.

Wholesome meaty, yeasty aromas permeate the introduction. Pours a pale amber with a single finger head that dissipates quickly. Interesting traces of cured meats and smoke that continue with the first tasting. Unexpected. Pleasantly sweet and smooth with malt and floral aftertaste. The final mouthful leaves an appealing, cleansing residue. Enjoyable, but not an award-winning brew.

Pours and amber color with a white head. Aroma is pretty malty with caramel malts, very little hop aroma, and a slight smoked aroma. Flavor is pretty malty as well with lots of caramel malts and little hop flavor. No lingering flavor.

The aroma is sweet with grainy malt and hops. The appearance is light amber with a nice head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is smooth. Overall I like it but dont love it.

aroma is a bit back washed, but the mouth feel is nice deep sense of caramel malts but with a slight touch of corn. however the overall of the beer works quite well. I enjoy this one.
