Pours a clear amber colour with no head. Aroma is malty, very little hops with noticeable corn. Taste is of corn, malts and a touch black licorice. Overall, kind of a dud.

12oz bottle served in a lager glass. Quite an interesting label on this one. A painting of an old steam powered train plowing through the South American rain forest as a parrot flies overhead. Odd. Golden body with lots of apparent carbonation, foamy white head. Smells much like a Belgian golden style ale, sugar, light spice, yeast, maybe a bit of grain. Very sweet initial sip, some spiciness. Strange. I am not sure if I like it or not but it is definitely different.

didn’t like this at all. feels unfinished golden color, nose is faintly flowery some white foam, some malt but feels almost like an extract, maybe a bad bottle but really odd dry finish, might try on a re-rate.

Brass/bronze color with almost no head and light club soda-like carbonation. Nose of yeast, fruit, and spices. Taste of dark fruits and spices with hints of caramel and molasses. A dry, malty, and slightly tangy finish.

Bottle. Light brown colored body with some rusty tones, small, fast dissipating white head. Leaves almost no traces it was there, no lacing or very much foam. Watery and oily looking. Not very appetizing. Nose is rubbing alcohol, citrus fruits, maybe some floral hops but not much else, really not the nose I am looking for in an APA. Flavor is a bit better, but still has some sharpness from whatever is giving the rubbing alcohol sensation, then some perfume hops and weak citrus tones. No bitterness, no bite, nothing that is forward at all. Get a wave of sweet malts in the background, but even that is relatively weak. Light bodied, almost watery, no heft, boring. Bland finish, watery and forgettable. Avoid.

Pours a clear watery light brown color with a lightly off-white, rocky, 1.5 finger width head that leaves some lacing. Aroma of honey, malt but no hops at all. Taste is honey, malt, leather and dirt. Lightly carbonated.
