Head is initially average sized, frothy, light brown, mostly diminishing.
Body is hazy medium brown, bottle conditioned.
Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (caramel, cookie, toasted grain), lightly yeasty (cobwebs), with notes of overripe banana, cola, and clove.
Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter.
Medium to full body, syrupy/velvety texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic.
Not bad, not bad. A little too syrupy sweet even given the style, as expected from this brewery, but the nose is pleasant.

Feb 18, 2008 12 oz. bottle from heemer77, thanks Eric. pours a dark amber with virtually no head nor any lacing. aroma is of wheat malt with some clove. flavor is wheaty with some banana, clove and some caramel sweetness. sweetness was not a pronounced or as sticky as with many other bocks. also noted some tingly carbonation throughout which seemed odd since there was no head or lace. an OK bock.

Feb 1, 2008 Pours a darker amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is of plums, caramel, sweet malts, and a little bit of alcohol. Flavor is sweet up front with the plums, caramel, sweet malts, some bubble gum, and finishes with only a hint of alcohol warming.

Jan 26, 2008 Pours a deep amber. Quite bubbly. Feels and taste quite like a Belgian ale due to the yeast content. Hints of caramel, vanilla, and dark fruits.

Jan 26, 2008 Another mindblowingly German-styled beer from Brazil (the other being Xingu). Rich amber wth decent head. Outstanding aroma of wheat intermingles with malt and delightful yeastiness. Oh my! Some sock yeasty notes add complexity. Exceptionally well-balanced body that is sprightly and effervescent as the yeast, malt and wheat all frolic together. A touch of uric acid on the finish adds an odd note that works well.

Jan 23, 2008 Dark amber...small lingering head. Malt and tropical fruit aroma. Intriguing and tasty blend of malts, toffee, banana, wheat, Triscuits, peanut brittle, papaya...thin as a Weizen bock but overall quite tasty.

Jan 15, 2008 From a 12-oz. bottle--Poured a thick amber-mahogany body with some copper tint to it. Bold fluffy cream head. Nose of sweet malts and metal. Metallic flavor with a way sweet. I wanted more wheat flavor and less sweet, but this is fairly true to style.
