Poured a hazy deep amber color with a small beige head. Wheaty lemon aroma with some phenolic spices. The flavor was wheaty with hints of raisins and light spice. Some banana. Semi-dry finish with a mild bitterness. Light to medium body.

350 ml bottle from Pizza Port. Deep walnut brown with a fizzy white head. Good strong sweet banana bread and spice aroma. Chocolate, caramel, banana, and cloves taste with a roasty and bready finish. Quite good.

This is my first time describing beer in this context. My unsophisticated description is that it reminded my of Aventinus, and I really liked it." ’Twas a bottle from the first shipment, that I am aware of, to arrrive in Anchorage, Alaska.

Bottle. Pours a rich cloudy brown body with ruby tinges and a small creamy white head. Solid aroma consisting of dark plums, chocolate roast, bread, and raisins. Moderate carbonation. Medium body - dark fruit flavours and dark rye bread notes. Reasonably dry and sharp. Light, burnt roasts and warming alcohol in the finish. Tasty.

12-oz. Thanks, HogFodder! Pours deep dark brown with intensely rubied highlights. Light, sweet gentle brown bread nose. Medium body, easy carb, flavors fairly dance across the palate. Sweet malt sugar but very under control. Light, easy finish.

Bottle thanks to hogfodder. Yummy banana aroma and flavor. A little thin, but still quite good.
