Tosa gathering: Hazy deep amber that is almost brown, fizzy small head and little lace. The aroma has notes of caramel, prune, wheat bread, hint of smoke and slightly phenolic. The taste has a initial fruity twang with a bready background, nice wheat and yeast background. Some clove action on the finish. The mouth feel is lively and refreshing. A surprisingly good brew, who knew?

This is a very good beer. The initial aroma is powerful and has lots of wheat and banana, as well as some sugar. Flavor is moderatel sweet. It has banana, light citrus, cloves and some alcohol. Opaque, cloudy brown like muddy water. Warming alcohol.

Good for a weizen bock. Not a fan of the style, but with a little more heaviness in the flavor this would have been great. Pour was a beautiful dark brown with a long lasting off white 2 finger head. Aroma of wheat and yeast with some spice. Taste was strongly wheaty with some caramel and spices in the front and a nice dry smooth aftertaste with a little bite to it.

12 oz bottle. Pours a nice dark amber with a head that dissipates quickly. Aroma of sweetness and hints of spice and chocolate. Flavor is same with a splash of fruitiness. Medium mouthfeel with a nice roasty spice finish. Little to no presence of the alcohol. Very nice beer.

Pours a real hazy deep amber with brown highlights and a thin head. Aroma is dominated by fruity esters but moslty banana and some apple- with a sweet caramel malt backbone. Light green apple flavor, sugary sweet caramel covered apple, some banana, deep sharp sweet caramel and a phenolic spicy aftertaste. Pretty smooth overall. Nice weizenbock esp from Brazil!

Bottle sampled with Beerded_one. Pours brown with an orange hue and a small off-white head. Aroma of fruit, slight roast, and slight chocolate. The flavor is sweet, fruit, spices, chocolate, and slight roast. Alcohol is well masked. Beautiful brew.

Bottled. Poured deep caramel with a short off-white head that left a loose ring. I very much enjoyed the aroma of sweet, lightly-smoked caramel paired with tart wheat and biscuity notes.. quite complex. Flavor found semi-sweet chocolate and toasted bananas, some darker spices, and tangy wheat notes… long-ish finish of toasty bananas and chocolate. Tangy and sweet on the palate.. well-balanced. Nice one!

Pours to a hazy light chestnut colored body with a thin white head. The aroma is wheaty and bready with some sweet caramelly malts. A little bit of alcohol. The flavor is wheat bread and caramel. Sweet palate that’s slick and pretty average.
