Aroma of caramel, malts and bananas. Taste of wheat, cloves, spices and caramel. The mouthfeel is thin with some mild carbonation and slightly boozy finish. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 29, 2009 Bottle from the bosses had at home. Alround rating: Quite carbonated indeed, the wheat is subtle, caramel fruityness, everything seems a bit toned down, muted if you will, but this includes the alcohol and makes its fairly drinkable. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 6, 2009 12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy mahogany with a very thin, off-white head. By thin, I mean maybe a milimeter thick. Massive ripe, boozy fruit nose. Cherries, pear, and banana with a hint of spice. The flavor is strikingly light. Cherries, banana, pear, alcohol, clove, wheat, and syrup on the palate. Lots of flavor for sure. Medium carbonation with a thick mouthfeel. It has a little chewiness to it. Medium-short finish with a little boozy fruit hanging around on the tongue. Unique and pretty tasty!
