| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Nov 21, 2009 Aroma of roasted toffee, ripe apple and caramel. Appearance is reddish gold with off white head. Flavor is pretty boozy, with some caramel and toffee flavors, perhaps raisins as well. Palate is aggressively lively and nearly painful, but also bubbly. A demanding beer meant to be consumed on it’s own. thirdeye11 (500), Texas, USA

Nose of alcohol, wheat. Taste some alcohol, chocolate, lightly sweet toasted grains. Finishes a little syrupy, but a very good beer. This was closer to a port than a beer, but pretty good. matt7215 (954), Cambridge, Ontario, Canada
