Commercial Description:
This world-famous beer has the character and richness to stand in for fine sherry or port. Just the right degree of sweetness - never cloying; wonderfully aromatic and warming. EKU 28 is the one whenever something good and strong is needed.

[Bottle] Dark orange colour. Prickly mouthfeel, loads of Co2. Thick almondy flavour profile with lots of sugar sensed - and alcohol. And glue.

Brown, clear beer. Smells of sweet malt. Very vinous aroma, strong kick of alcohol. Flowery sweet, though there are hops here, too, avoiding a too cloying sweetness. Hint of sherry or port, some burned sugar.

Bottle shared with Bret. Murky amber color with a small head. Awesome malty aroma. Taste is sweet, yet dry with some dried fruits. Slightly smokey and really drinkable.

I took one sip of this beer and I had only one comment to make about this beer to my BF and that was "yuck this tastes like medicine"!!

Another of my faves! This is an excellent beer. Strong alcohol notes throughout. Not very carbonated. Golden brown to brown red in color. Excellent as a digestif or dessert. Try it with a shot of Scotch in it as me and my friends do (then known as Luftwaffe Fuel!). Talk about strong!! HIGHLY recommended! It"s even better when aged!

This beer is like flat lemonade once poured as its head disappears in an instance. The aroma has a slight peach scent and the taste is of a very fortified beer. Due to the strength of the beer it is too difficult to drink.

Light copper-orange appearance. Alcohol and candy nose. Little to no head. Alcohol is very evident. Has elements of sherry, cotton candy and some rum soaked raisins. Not for the faint of heart. A little bit rough around the edges.
