A very prevalent sweet malted flavor, caramel nuts and so on- clear copper colour with a small sized white head. This beer is strong for the price and i recommend trying it.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. The look is clear, golden in color with an off white head. The smell is sweet, honey, chex mix, and malts. The taste is very sweet, malts, caramel, and ok.

Orange-amber, almost salmon colored, and lacking a head so it almost looks like a tinted wine. Hearty alcoholic malt aroma that reappears in the flavor. A great, warming , heavy on the palate, winter beer. Like a fine, malty wine.

Bottle thanks to my brother. Amber with no head. Nose is fruity with notes of sherry and raisins. Thick like syrup and the sherry flavor really shines with a very smooth balance between the malts.

Bottle. Pours brilliant rusy amber with big beige head which falls eventually. The aroma is raisin, cinnamon, honey, and wood. The flavor begins with a sweet brown sugar and raisin taste, which gets gradually woodier with time. Some floral hops come through, as well, along with a tinge of alcohol that grows in the finish. Pretty good.

Transparent and magnifying lucid brass in color with a creamy gray wrung and an errant grayish strand crossing the top to serve as the head. Boozy aroma, like a stiff brandy manhattan, elements of applewood, caramelized pears and liqueur lacquered cedar panels. Not appealing; in fact, quite appalling. Vanilla and woodiness flavor traits intercede a wallop of alcohol presence. Mulled, spiced apple cider meets brandy soaked figs. Terribly cumbersome. Spicy pepper meets spiced rum. Super-charged, liqueur-pumped toffee candies that were labeled rejects and tossed in the dumpster. Oily, margarine-like messages confound a sharp and contrastingly effervescent mouth feel. Carbonation hangs around much longer than other eisbocks, which makes me suspect, and hot alcohol seeping down the esophagus like a shot of rail liquor sums up the finish. The alcohol presence definitely worked against it. Without a doubt, the black sheep of eisbocks.

Amber colored, huge caramel nose. Slight head which dissipates quickly. Strong caramel flavor and a wallop of alcohol. Not something I enjoyed.

Argh! Blah! Aroma is of rum. Flavor is of rum. Is this really beer? It tastes like, well, rum! Alcohol is all you taste. This is no different than pouring Bacardi dark rum in a glass and drinking it. It burns by god! Some malt but no hops unless they were murdered by the alcohol. This is the one beer I could recommend on the rocks. Ive had higher ABV beers so I know this one makes no attempt to hide the alcohol. Its like doing shots. Its not a bad "beer" its a good "liquor". Good luck! Damnit, I have been making the same face of disgust for about 30 minute. I'll pass!!!!!
