| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 5, 2005 pours amber with a medium sized tan head, aromas of sweet malt, fruit, & alcohol, taste is sweet, fruity, and loaded with alcohol, not bad, but it is every bit an 11% beer. | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Nov 10, 2003 Strong and sweet nose is first evidence of high alcohol levels. Slightly brownish red color is headless and murky. Strong tea flavors are most dominant, alcohol burns on the way down. One dimensional, strong malty lager. No hints of fruit here. | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jul 5, 2002 Spiced banana like aroma is pretty promising, while the productive foam quickly dissiaptes. Alcohol flavor dominates and makes tasting notes difficult. Maybe interesting to a Whiskey drinker but in the words of Eminem, ’I say that shit’s just clowing dog.’ It was probaly good as yhe strongest beer in the world but doesn’t even get that title anymore. Still it’s a marketing tool. TheGrandMaster (1870), Auckland, New Zealand

Sweet toffeeish aroma with some corn characteristics., but also whiskeyish. A very whiskey flavour, the finish gets sweeter and more syrupy. iowaherkeye (1869), Los Angeles, California, USA

Very sweet aroma consisting of nuts, maple syrup, brown sugar, raisins, light alcohol and cardboard. Taste is much the same--too much alcohol and too sweet. Has some straight bitterness with no discernible hops. Syrupy body, mod carbonation. kappldav123 (1869), Markkleeberg, Germany
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 18, 2009 The bottle looks good, also the beername is not really the best. Starts very malty, very strong, quite alcoholic. The alcoholic note remains till the finish. Bit earty, fiery-warming finish. Not bad! nearbeer (1858), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

Nose of corn, grass and molasses. Flavor is caramel, grain, hay, peppery wood and cherry liqueur. Near-medium body is smooth, alcohol-dried and chest-warming. Give this one a chance; it gets better the further you delve.
