Pours a decent frothy head, that disappears fast. Very malty, a bit vergetable-like. Thick, sweet, malty flavor with lots of warming alcohol. A peppery fruitiness (raisin and plums). Long, malty alcoholic finish.

Bottle, bought @ oeltorvet.dk.
Pours a wonderful deep orange amber with a fine creamy off white head. Doughy aroma, some rye and alcohol. Oily mouthfeel and good bite. Flavour is sweet and creamy with high sweetness and a bit cloying. Not much balance, but it’s not poor. The alcohol is impressively hidden.

Bottle at d.b.a. Samichlaus like very hazelnutty, intensely liquorous and sweet, bready nose. It pours reddish, clear and with neglectable head. Bockish fruitiness gathers banana, apricot, pineapple and cherry hints. Its best moments are met when peppery flavours kick in with the fruits, but swiftly enough, the overwhelming sweetness has the best of it. Bloody, cheap port-like, medicinal and bubble gummy in mouth, this is almost impossible to drink for me, no bitterness at all, just challenging thick, surprisingly carbonated worty malts.Very challenging to finish.

Aroma is bold sweet malts. Taste is similar, though you can actually find some peppery hops having a wee say. Very very drinkable with the alcohol well hidden, one for when you need something sweet and strong and cant find samichlaus.

Definitely alcoholic, but sweet enough to mask most of the vapors. It goes down smoothly and has a distinctive caramel mouthfeel.
