11.2 oz bottle ($2.49) from Holiday Wine Cellar: Orange-amber color with a medium off white head that fades to nothing fast. Aroma is rich ripe fruit with a metallic background. Flavor is rich with over ripe peach/apricot, some honey and a light spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied and smooth with moderate carbonation. Metallic aorma dissapaited and alcohol became more proment as it warmed.

Light copper-orange appearance. Alcohol and candy nose. Little to no head. Alcohol is very evident. Has elements of sherry, cotton candy and some rum soaked raisins. Not for the faint of heart. A little bit rough around the edges.

Bottled. Clear amber colour. Very quickly diminishing head. Aroma of dark fruits, most prominently plums and strawberries. Otherwise malty and sweet. At first the taste is dominated by sweetness with a malty base. Then dark fruits come through, mostly plums, but no strawberries. Finish is suprisingly hoppy and bitter for such a sweet bock-beer. Mediumbodied with a normal mouthfeel. I don´t know why this beer gets such a bad rep from many people. I, for myself, liked it, especially the aroma.

This was a very strange dark orange/red colour. It poured a tall head but it soon collapsed on itself. It almost seems like a thick cider. Sweet, sweet aroma with some caramel and toffee. The flavour is very sweet and sticking with some honey like flavours, caramel, and a drying alcohol like finish.

Copper colored beer pours thick with a cream colored head that quickly recedes due to the high alcohol content. Aroma is sweet malt and a whiff of alcohol. Flavor is sweet, thick malt, and a big alcohol hit. The flavor is pretty good, but it does not even try to hide the booze, and that is not entirely a bad thing. Big bold malt and caramel flavor; sweet, thick, and chewy. Interesting, enjoyable, and good, but not something I could drink more than one or two of.

Brown, clear beer. Smells of sweet malt. Very vinous aroma, strong kick of alcohol. Flowery sweet, though there are hops here, too, avoiding a too cloying sweetness. Hint of sherry or port, some burned sugar.

Bottle, bought @ oeltorvet.dk.
Pours a wonderful deep orange amber with a fine creamy off white head. Doughy aroma, some rye and alcohol. Oily mouthfeel and good bite. Flavour is sweet and creamy with high sweetness and a bit cloying. Not much balance, but it’s not poor. The alcohol is impressively hidden.

120z bottle. clean and coppery in color. pours with a slightly yellowed head. has a big malty sweet nose. distinctly german style malt aroma.fuity candied apricot comes to mind. rich thick and sappy mouthfeel. prickly carbonation marries well with a hop flavor that is mildly spicy and a tad sharp. sherry or port this is not. for starters its carbonated. but i see the comparison because desert it is. sweet and full pair with? i’m not sure-a cup of coffee? ha
