Aroma is alcohol (sherry/rocket fuel), molasses, dough, light peach. Taste is syrupy sweet, alcohol, malty, raisin. Finish is toffee/molasses and medium alcohol burn. Syrupy full body with minimal carbonation. Not a bad beer, but nothing I'm likely to seek out again. beerguy101 (3950), Newark, California, USA

Taste is more like a sherry or port than a beer, but EKU 28 retains its beer character. Nice hop bite. Big bold beer. Mouthfeel is full and expansive. Finish is clean and smooth. Noticeable alcohol bite (11%). Aftertaste is malty and slightly sweet. Slight oily texture to this beer. A bit overpowering. CapFlu (3489), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

Nose of sweet molasses with some hidden hops. Very sweet malt with a tinny finish. Oily texture. Interesting... Good! Thanks Rudge75! pantani (1902), Salinas, California, USA

Malt, alcohol, butterscotch, caramel, honey, very sweet aroma. No head. Very alcoholic sweet taste, alcohol is present but not overwhelimg. Very sweet. IPFreely (1470), Lewiston, New York, USA

Flavor is big time malt, very sweet, not too sweet but damn close to my tolerance of sweet. Alcohol is fairly assertive, but overall masked pretty well. Full body. Not bad but it'll test your sweetness threshold. 5000 (2600), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA

Good, but not a world class brew
