Pours a redish brown color with a nice big white head (which fades quickly) that leaves nice glass lacing. Aroma is malty, watery, some notes of raisins and dried rapberries. Flavor is very sweet like candied fruits and whiskey. Mouthfeel is very sticky and has just the right amount of tingle. Alcohol is very well hidden. A tasty beer. I really liked this one. I wonder how why it’s rated so low. OleR (2121), Oslo, Norway

The aroma has a soft, delicate sweet and nutty malt profile, lots of ripe fruits and a noticeable, but inoffensive alcohol scent. Taste is vinous, gently sweet, full malty with a plummy fruitiness. Notes of mild bittering hops, molasses and port. Chewy mouthfeel. Full-bodied. A pleasant alcohol heat in the finish. Powerful and balanced. A treat. Rynoplasty (547), Louisville, Kentucky, USA
