Brent (116), Bowling Green, Kentucky, USA Sep 24, 2001 Nice roasted malt flavor with spicy hops. Almost a little like a porter. Very nicely done. thebeertourist (2005), Oslo, Norway Jun 28, 2006 1989 bottle at Kulminator. Chestnut brown with a big white head. Fruity aroma with notes of chocolate combined with fresh bubblegum aroma. Sweet flavours initially, then more acidic fruitiness, dry finish. Medium to light body. Still a highly complex brew and keeping up well after 17 years in the bottle. Magicdave6 (4092), London, Greater London, England Oct 17, 2005 No#13. (1987). I never thought that a weizen could or should be aged, anyway turned out well. Aroma is of feet with a sour banananess going on. Taste is similar with a sort of red wine vinigar going on, nice sourness. An excellent refreshing beer, unexpectidly so.
