Muggus69 (253), Sydney, Australia Sep 10, 2008 Glass poured fresh from 5L keg. Perfectly clear pale gold body with sizeable white foam leaving sparce lace. Grainy malt nose, bit of honey and floral hops, nothing wrong but not alot happening. Reasonable carbonation, slightly thin body and texture. More grainy malt on the body, bit bready and corn-like, bit of spicy hops towards a dry, medium bitter finish. Average sort of quaffing German Helles, unremarkable at best. JK54B (385), Finland Aug 19, 2008 Pale golden yellow colour. White fast disappearing head. Some grass in the nose. Soft a little bit sweet taste. Some hops in the end. punainen6 (79), Finland Jul 17, 2008 500 ml bottle, standard lager color, clear gold. Starts off pretty boring but developes nicely little further than a standard lager, nice hoppy flavor but still quite watery. Maria (4380), Thisted, Denmark Jul 5, 2008 Warm golden with a huge, white and lasting head. The aroma is mild and smooth with notes of malt and hops. The flavour has a light, refreshing bitterness, smooth notes of malt and light citrus. It’s a nice one. Jukkabro (2394), Tampere, Finland Jun 29, 2008 Standard yellow colored with little white head. Grainy hops dominate with honey and mild butter, lemon also here. Thin to medium bodied, crispy palated. Flavor is similar with grassy hops and lemon, basic German pilsner for my taste. Aftertaste has some metal in it with lemon still.
