MitchWayne (264), Kokkola, Finland Apr 24, 2009 I dont know what to say really, a decent lager, a bit on the grainy side. Boring but does the trick. omhper (12147), Stockholm, Sweden Apr 13, 2009 Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Clear pale yello, fair sized head. Mild grassy nose. Dryish despite an underlying malt sweetness. The mouthfeel is relaxed, clean and rounded. There are notes of paper and butter and the bitterness is low. A refreshing helles with clean flavour profile. Ungstrup (14724), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 23, 2009 Bottled. A golden beer with a lazing beige head. Both the aroma and flavor are sweet with dusty notes of hops, malt, and caramel. austone (998), Turku; Pori, Finland Dec 1, 2008 Sparkling golden, foaming pale head. Nose is neutral, little cardboardy malts and hayish hops. Dull. Hayish flavor, honey, malts and alcohol. Quite crisp, but still plain boring. Light bodied, strong carbonation. Slightly better than basic bulk, but just very sterile. MoritzF (4856), Bochum, Germany Nov 3, 2008 (bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a mid-sized foamy white head. Moderately sweet, slightly dusty strawy malty nose ´with a touch of dough. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a crispy mf. Strawy, malt-accented taste; rather dry sweet-bitter finish. Without flaws, just a bit boring (24.X.08). gerardoluna (195), Mexico Oct 23, 2008 [Eyes] Clear, pale golden with a small, bubbly and quickly vanishing head.
[nouse] Honey-malty, floral and mildly buttery aroma with hints of wood.
[Mouth] Pale mildly fruity flavor with no hop bite a little acidic large. Medium-bodied, pivnizub (4949), Bochum, Porúří, Germany Oct 22, 2008 Bottle: Golden, visible carbonation, small + stable yellowish head; barley and cardboard in the nose; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, soft MF, almost medium-bodied; some faint acidity detectable in the lemony-bitter finish. Not great........ Muggus69 (487), Sydney, Australia Sep 10, 2008 Glass poured fresh from 5L keg. Perfectly clear pale gold body with sizeable white foam leaving sparce lace. Grainy malt nose, bit of honey and floral hops, nothing wrong but not alot happening. Reasonable carbonation, slightly thin body and texture. More grainy malt on the body, bit bready and corn-like, bit of spicy hops towards a dry, medium bitter finish. Average sort of quaffing German Helles, unremarkable at best.
