| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Nov 6, 2006 Pours a crystal crear yellow. Wonderful fizz. Malt aroma with a little grass. What a hoppness. nasty pils bitterness. Haaz?? What a wonderful light body. Very bitter bite for a German Pilsner. Balanced short finish. aracauna (2391), Georgia, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 15, 2006 Pours a very clear, very pale gold, with a nicely lasting white head. The aroma is slight straw malt, light, indestinct hopping. This is a bit bland for a pils and so a bit of a disappointment. Strykzone (1497), Wood River, Illinois, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 11, 2006 Golden in color with a nice frothy white head this is an attractive beer. Lots of hops in the aroma and some grass as well. There might be some Saarz hops that can be detected in the aroma and the flavor. Plenty of bitterness in the flavor that leaves some aftertaste. I keep tasting corn but keep saying that it should not be there. Finally decided that it is there. That is the closest thing to malt detected. henry3r (586), Wichita, Kansas, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 7, 2006 The 12 ounce bottle poured a sparkling clear light golden yellow beverage with a respectable smooth white head that was mostly diminishing but left good lacing on the glass. The aroma had a pleasantly balanced mixture of malt and hop characteristics with none of the expected skunkiness. The malts slightly nutty with some cereal and the hops had a light citrus character. The body was medium light with lively carbonation and a smooth slightly oily texture. The flavor started off lightly bitter with a subtle nut and grain background taste. The finish was medium long and the bitterness lasted throughout. lagermonkey (597), Marietta, Georgia, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 27, 2006 Pours a clear golden yellow, dense and creamy snowwhite head. Lots of thick chunky lacing. Smells of lightly sour plae malt and some underlying noble (Saaz?) hops.
Taste is much the same, lightly sour pale malt but a more strident presence of noble hops. Actually, nicely balanced, tilting more toward the hops. More so as it warms. If you like noble hops this beers for you. Hops give a cleaness to the beer, light a crisp. Hop dominant in finish and aftertaste. Nice pils here! Lovely for the Georgia heat.
