Golden body with small head that disipated fairly quickly. The malts gave this beer a sweet flavor and balanced out the bitterness. Decent beer compared to other overly bitter pils I’ve had. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 29, 2005 Not a bad pils, drinkable but a tad sweet. Decent nose. Nice straw color. Nice head that faded some. If it gets a little too warm the sweetness comes out more. Dough77 (777), Aurora, Illinois, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 28, 2005 Pour was light gold with fizzy small head. Nose was a little strange, like a "classy" BMC aroma. Taste was bready, grainey, very sweet. And if you let it sit on the tongue for a moment or so it has an actual really nice flavor with that sweetness hitting hard. Refreshing? definitly, good? not bad. Drew (2409), Kent, Ohio, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 28, 2005 $13 for a mini-keg (5 litres?). Light golden, fairly clear, big soapy head, very little lacing. Aroma is lightly sweet and dusty. Taste was thin, bready malts, sweetening as it warmed, faint dusty hop finish. Easy to drink on a hot day. wnhay (722), Princeton, New Jersey, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 26, 2005 Poured gold with a fair amount of carbonation. I could have used more sparkle in the glass. Grassy and fruity aroma with a sweeter smell than most Pilsners. Sweet taste with a descent amount of hops. This is good stuff but I’ve had better. biz82 (1328), austin, Texas, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 16, 2005 This bottle is at least a couple years old as it hasn’t been available around here for that long. It’s still clear and deep gold with ample carbonation. A little oxidation in the aroma but malt and hops come through well. Quite malty in flavor with some noticable hops and a little bitterness. On the sweet side for a German Pils.
