Bottle conditioned, hazy amber with a white bubbly head. A sweted fruit aroma. Quite a buttery mouthfeel, flowery at first and it isn’t until the finish that the chilli kick comes through. I surprisingly quite liked this, I thought it might be a little gimmicky.

Appearance: pale yellow color. Not head. Aroma: chili; and others “hot-spice” like black peppers, seed mustard and red paprika. Very soft smoked. Not hoppy. Flavor: intensive red chilies, hot-spicy, pale malts that adding a soft sweetness. Reminiscences of red paprika, peppers and mustard. Persistent hot taste; some touch of salame very spicy and smoked. I remember the “merkén”, this is a Chilean hot-spice-seasoning of Mapuche people, that contain toasty and dries red-chilies (mainly of "cacho de cabra" variety) with salt and others spices like coriander. (Long Live to Chile and Mapuche people!!!). Palate: light body, watery texture. Low carbonation. Very hot-spicy beer, exotic, but the chili-taste is not my favorite. Clear yellow/golden color with a small-fizzy, white fast-diminishing head. It leaves a very small lacing. Aroma is spicy and a little smokey. Notes of chile, pepperoni, smoked ham, salmon, saussages, gherkins and italian salami. Flavor is intense, very hot spicy with lots of chile, pepper, suasages, pepperoni and more spices. Almost no malty sweetness or hop flavors to counterbalance, but really unique. Light to medium body, high stingy carbonation. Finish is very hot and spicy. No alcoholic presence whatsoever. Hot aftertaste. A very different and interesting brew, not for everyone.

Bottle. I sware i will not pretend to be a macho man again. Chilli beer is not for me. I think everything that has this kind of vegetables should not be considered as beer.

Bottled. Hazy pale golden, minimal head, contains a small piece of green chili. Tabasco aroma. Initially sweet and rounded, but quickly turning into a burning tabasco sensation. Not as terribly macho as Sunshine Coast’s version, and with more malt to legitimize the chili. A beer that makes you thirst for another beer, but certainbly not another of of the same...

Imbibed in December 2002. Not much aroma. Clear light gold color with a head that fizzed and vanished in 30 seconds. Wow! Pretty amazing flavors. Honey/diacetyl flavor with a slight hoppiness that is quickly overwhelmed by peppery, spicy chili zing. Not much heat but lots of chili flavor. Very original and well done. I gave it a high mark because of the flavor and its uniqueness.
