GABF 2009, not as good as the IPA from El Toro. Orange pour, b ig agressive hop aroma, Taste was huge throat burning bitterness, a bit too bitter, needs a bit more balanced. Could be a victoim of how great the IPA was however.

On tap @ Toronado. Pours a slightly hazy orange, small head. Very hoppy and citrusy nose, gives way to a grapefruit, sweet orange, and bitter explosion. Could be a bit more balanced, but why? Tasty!

Extreme bitter, as big a hop beer as it comes. Even Jazz88, who is all about hops, said he wouldn’t want two of these. Hops in the aroma, the flavor, hoppy finish, hops on the palate...basically hops. (on tap at the Toronado)

Bottle courtesy of Lothore. Pours a hazy amber with a thin white head. Smells of pine resin, metallic, caramel. Tastes of citrus, peppery, grapefruit, some resiny hints. Nice bitterness on the finish.

Draft at brewery. Solid double ipa. Nice resiny texture with a tad of the pineapple hoppy flavor. Alot of malt. I was glad he had some bottled, I bought a 6er to share with my brother.

Bottle shared by larryLSB: Pours a hazy brass orange color with a spotty-lacing white head. Has a fresh resiny grapefruity and orange hop nose with mild pale malty sweetness. Starts wiith good light malty sweetness and sticky resiny citrus bittering hop balance before a drier bittersweet finish. A nicely balanced double IPA.

12oz bottle shared by SamGamgee, thanks! Orange-tan color. Big and hoppy earthy aroma. Well balanced and completely drinkable with the moderate ABV. Toasty malt on the light side. Excellent.

12oz bottle. Hazy orange with a sticky head. Big, spicy hop aroma with grapefruit and sweet orange and some malty sweetness. Starts with a citric and floral hop flavor, upheld by a sweet pale malt base, and then finishes with a strong bitterness that lingers. Medium bodied and somewhat light for the style. I like the balance.
