Hazy orange - poured with a little sediment. Aroma is orange, grapefruit, and grass clippings. Flavor is similar with a resiny kick and mouthfeel. good and recommended.

On draft at Toronado SF. Appearance is a translucent murky orange hue, thin layer of white creamy head, sticky lacing on the glass. Smell is pine resin, sweet citrus, cotton candy, touch of mustiness. Taste is bitter pine resin and grapefruit dominated hops, orange and lemons creep in with some grassy hops, cotton candy bubblegum appears near the end, finishes bitter and resiny. Palate is medium-bodied, big thick oily resin texture, biting carbonation. Overall, a nice sticky and resiny hop bomb with a nice balance of sweet citrus and candy sweetness, the finish is a touch too harsh.

A- Golden in color with a small eggshell head that fades and leaves a little lacing. S- Smells extremely hoppy. Grainy pine scents dominate the nose. T- Piney hops are prevalent from start to finish with a bitter kick. Grainy bready taste masked beneath the hops. M- Thick and chunky with a blast of carbonation that compliments the hoppy bitterness perfectly. D- Definitely a sipper but certainly very drinkable for a double ipa.

Draft at Toronado. Hazy amber, pretty good lacing and retention. Aroma is very fruity with overripe fruits, some grass, caramel. Flavor matches, moderate to high bitterness, alcohol hidden well. A little bit of that creamy drinkability I remember from their BW.

12 oz bottle thanks to friend Jimmy S. Hazy gold pour with no head-a bit cold to start. Hop bomb to start with but the dry hops come through with warming. Decent balance and a very nice DIPA. This small brewery is doing a great job but distribution has always been an issue.
