Tried on draft at Jack’s tourist tavern, Fisherman’s Wharf, San Francisco. 05.23.04 Dark, golden amber, large head, much lace. Aromas of citrus grove and fresh french bread. The flavors are sweet, lots of c-hops with a fairly harsh bitter finish. Pretty dry and clean.

Pours a light copper golden with a thick, puffy, and well-lacing head. Very bold fresh hoppy aroma with some underlying caramel malt. Body has a nice toffee sweetness intertwined with a generous hop balance. Finishes fresh, dry and bitter, a very nice IPA.

Slighty hazy gold/orange color, decent lasting head. Big citric, resinous aroma. Very bitter, lots of hop flavor. A West coast style IPA that will satisfy any lupulin craving.

On tap @ Cato's. Hazy light orange body. Citrus and pine in the nose. Quite bitter with lemon peel dominating its flavor more than I recall from previous tastings.

on tap@toronados: Light floral aroma. Flavor was slightly hoppy but very pleasant. The flavor however was overwhelmed with grapefruit that i could hardly get past. also slightly acidic.

For some reason I was kinda leary when I 0purchased this, but I thought I would give it a try. Very nice...for an IPA. I may have to try some other brews from this brewery.

Increadible floral and fruity nose. Cascade hops and malts provide good balance. Not real hoppy but refreshing.

Lighty hazed amber color with a bubbly cream colored head. Big fresh cascade aroma with a hint of malt. Fairly smooth feel. Hops flavors dominate throughout the quaff. Finish is a pure hops high and acid feel. Some light sweetness noticed mid to late swallow. A little to light in the malt department for my tastes, but if you are a hops head this is a should, if not a must, try brew.
