Draft at the brewery. Good straight forward IPA. A little jumpy pine with some tart citrus. Good beer after a long drive.

Draught at the brewpub. Hazy gold with a sticky head. Floral piney hops and light dough in the aroma. Straight bitter and hoppy stuff. Dry with light malts and firm grapefruit bitterness. Medium bodied with ample carbonation. Pretty standard stuff for the west-coast style, but not really too interesting.

Draft @ Jacks Canery, SF. Pours a dark golden color with a small off-white head. Has a malty hoppy pine needles aroma with some hints of grapefruit. Sweetish malty hoppy bitter piney grapefruit flavor. Has a sweetishmalty hoppy bitter finish with a long bitter aftertaste. A nice one.

Murky amber with a thin white head. Aroma of soap, pine, grapefruit and bready malts. Taste of heavy hops, though the hops aren’t terribly flavorful. Finish is a medium bitter that lasts quite some time, not the greatest of finishes. A little burnt malt mixed into the finish and mild caramel tries to sneak its way into the flavor as well.
