Bottle courtesy of Irishboy. Pours gold with a thin white head. Smells malty with some underlying nuttiness and cherries. Tastes malty with some nice tea like hops and lemony hints. Mouthfeel is full bodied and the finish is slightly earthy.

12 oz bottle, from Brennan’s in Brookfield, WI. Smooth, hazy gold, continuous small bubble action, smallish creamy-smooth head that dies quickly to a lasting thin coating & ring...slightly nutty and woody nose at the front, overtaken by mild, dried-orange citrusy hoppiness...smooth and creamy in the body, orange and lemonpeel and a light spiciness, some woody notes towards the finish and a touch of rye perhaps...lovely full body, quite easy to drink, clean and perfectly bitter at the finish...bet this would be just terrific on cask.

Pours a nice translucent golden color with a quickly evaporating white head. Sweet and mildly hoppy aroma, a little weaker in the glass than in the bottle. The flavor isn’t BAD, but it’s no where as impressive as some of the other El Toro offerings. However, it has a nice toasted nutty finish to it, which makes the drinking very nice.

Dark straw color, with some mildly hoppy notes, toasty malt aromas. Pours a decent head, which disspate, leaving just a little bit, which also sticks to the glass. Nutty, toasted flavor, and slightly spicy.

I’m not a big fan of this particular style but el toro does a good job with it. Pours golden with thick head. What I liked best about this brew is its body- much fuller than most english pales also very smooth. Solid.

It pours a golden color with ample head that hangs around a while. Too heavily carbonated. Smells sweet of graham crackers and citrus. Feels kind of thin. Tastes tart. Clean, dry aftertaste. It is a fairly smooth beer, but nothing special overall. Fot the price it’s not worth buying more than once.
