Dark red amber. Subdued citric hop aroma. Relatively malty, clean, slightly spicy flavour, bitter finish. A very good beer that runs down far too easy leaving an empty bottle you wish would be full. Thanks PsychProf for sedning me this beer!

Poured a deeper and cloudy brown color with an averaged sized off white head. Softer aromas of nuts, caramel and hops. Tastes of light caramel, nuts, with a light grapefruit finish. Definitely a hoppy presence for a brown ale compared to the brown ales I’ve had of late.

Pours a clear dark copper with a small off-white head. Light caramel malt and plenty of hops fill the aroma. Body is lightly sweet and full of western hops. Finishes dry and crisp with nice hop flavor. I wouldn't really consider this a brown ale, more of an amber mixed with an IPA.

This beer rocks. I didn’t take any notes while drinking it. However, if you like other brown ales that I have rated highly, you won’t be disappointed with this one.

Slightly lower marks as the beer was oxidized. More of a octoberfest grain bill than an english brown. Nice and malty, just nothing special.

Draft @ Piaci Pub & Pizza, Fort Bragg, CA. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Has a malty caramel aroma with some grassy hoppy hints. Sweetish malty caramel flavor with some fruity hints. Has a sweetish malty caramel finish with some hoppy hints in the aftertaste.

This score is way too high. Thanks to the wifey for this one. Pours dark brownish with medium sized off-white head. I got caramel malt, brown sugar, slight berry, and slight hops in the nose. The flavor was caramel malty, not sweet, with some brown sugar, and finishing hop notes. Not bad but overrated here.
