hopdog (4779), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 12, 2005 Poured a medium and slightly hazy golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of lemons, honey and light wheat. Tastes of pretty much the same with the wheat coming through a little stronger. Both the aromas and tastes on the lighter side with the body on the thinner side. CaptainCougar (4687), Rockville, Maryland, USA Aug 19, 2007 Pours a transparent pale golden with an effervescent, airy, wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of mildly sweet wheat and some sweaty hops and light fruity esters. Body starts with a lot of carbonation, light pale malty sweetness and some mild earthy bittering hops toward a pretty bland, but smooth finish. A standard American wheat. JPDIPSO (4344), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Jun 13, 2002 Light golden color with a smallish white fluffy head. Aroma and flavors of honey and light apples dominate and take away from the malt and hops. Why gum up the mash, if you aren’t going to use a proper yeast? beerguy101 (3544), Newark, California, USA Jul 20, 2003 Light gold color. Medium head. Aroma is fruity with a touch of malts. A lighter bodied American Wheat beer. Malts are slightly sweet. Hops are mild and a touch spicy. Mild flavor, smooth taste. Very typical American Wheat. Mouthfeel is creamy and full. Finish is dry! Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
