El Toro Wine Barrel Aged Oatmeal Stout

Jet black, thin toasted wheat head. Smells semi-sweet chocolate and anise. Big time chocolate flavor, roasted coffe bitter. Nice, even palate. Rich molasses and caramel malts in flavor. Sampled on draught at Toronado in San Fran

Tap @ Toronado. Dark brown to black color with no head. Strong coffee flavors with a hint of the dark fruits infused from the barrels. Somewhat sweet, rounded and balanced on the palate. Enjoyable but not aggressive.
