Commercial Description:
Creamy butterscotch notes flood the taste buds, laced with subtle complex fruit...and a subtle suggestion of vintage port. Elegant and seamless, this beer was a waltz on the palate.

1994 Vintage, 6.33 oz bt. Picked up a btl at my go to store in N. Colorado for eclectic old stuff, Liquor Max. Thanks Nick. Pours deep brown, mahogony. Non-existant head, like 50 bubbles. Different than the 2006 i drank recently. Intense, raisin, nougat, bourbon, touch of grain on the nose. Silky and soft, wish it had a bit more definition. Flavor is rich and layered, but does not sustain on the finish. Whiskey, heavy malt, raisins again. Burnt toffee. Molasses. Oily. Weird touch of dog food on the nose, hmmmmmm. Cant say I absolutely love TH ale, but it is amazing that it can still drink after so long in btl.

Tasting at Brewtopia. 1995 vintage. Brown pour. Aroma is amazing. Dark dried fruit, vanilla, caramel, toffee, molasses, booze, and oak. Flavor coats your entire mouth with a strong sweetness of raisins, dates, vanilla, toffee, caramel, booze, wow what a beer. MMMMMMore please!

Crushed with Jakebra. A brew that will make your balls drop. It might put hair on your chest and then other areas of your body you weren’t even aware of, aight? Lots of raisens and fruits on the nose, and bourbon-y-ness. A excellent beer, but I fear for your soul if you try to crush this on your own. Shared it with 5 bras, and it fixed each of us enough.

1994 vintage courtesy of Crosling. Aggressive pour results in a murky bog brown with about 65 bubbles that form a ring around the glass. Nose is molasses, sweet dark fruits and toasted caramel. Taste is brown sugar, dates, booze, raisins and more molasses with some woody/oaky earthiness finishing it out. Flat, but creamy mouth feel (Hell, it’s 14 years old). Very tasty complex brew. Thanks for sending it Nick (twice)!

Kulminator: 25 cL bottle, 1982 vintage, #28547. Pours hazy dark brown with with a fully gone head. Aroma is distinct wineous and fruity. Mild acidic too. Acidic and and wineous fruity flavoured. Smoothly going into a lovely fruity flavour into the finish. Very surprised by this.
