Enjoyed on tap at the new Tempe brewpub location. Poured a light amber color with a slight haze. Very thin head. Bright citrus on the nose. Palate has a hop focus and citrus zest, but still well within a basic amber ale category (not a hoppy IPA). Easy drinking but nothing inspiring about the beer.

Bottle. Pours hazy amber with a one finger beige head that results in spotty lacing. The nose is caramel malt and earthy hops. The taste is caramel, grain and light citrus hops. Medium bodied. Wasn’t sure what to expect on this one but it’s not bad.

A vigorous pour produces a fat-one-finger thick, light tan colored head. The beer is a hazy amber color that shows a bit of a copper hue when held up to the light. The aroma smells of spicy hop and stale malt. It almost has a cinnamon note to it that goes well with the predominant caramel notes. A very light aroma compared to most beers.

Sweet and caramelized up front, the beer finishes with an herbal hop flavor as well as a lightly biting bitterness. There is a certain spiciness running through the flavor profile here, it is almost like black pepper, with even a bit of a wood-like note to it. This has a light body to it, yet has a touch of heft to it that just clings to the palate.

Not a bad beer, just not all that great either. Tastes a bit like a standard Amber ale.

Pours a dark orange-brown (like a strong tea) with a creamy, pitted, beige head that deposits wispy lace on the glass. The nose is more like an ESB than an APA: dry, biscuity malt with earthy hops in the background. Light to medium-bodied and creamy on the tongue, transitioning to a bitter, lightly salty, and somewhat metallic finish. Again, the flavor is more like a well-hopped ESB than an APA, but I like ESBs. This is a solid session brew from the guys in Bisbee.

Pours a medium hazy amber collor with a foamy light tan head. Aroma is sweet hops and caramel, with some citrus. Flavor is similar, but somewhat weak. Finish is slightly bitter and watery, but quenching. As the name states, OK

12 oz bottle via cbkschubert (thanks!).This one pours a hazy copper with large but quickly dissappearing beige head. Nose is earthy hops and butterscotch. Tastes like it smells with a bit of orangepeal in the finish, and a somewhat metallic aftertaste with a bit of diacatyl. This Ale is not quite ’ok’ in my book..this is the 3rd beer i have had from this brewer, and i have not been impressed with any of them...

Bottle from cbkschubert. Turbid orangy deep copper colored with 1-finger off-white head. Aroma of orange zest and marmalade, caramel malt, hops, peppery spices. Tastes citric, with malt, tangerine, mild black pepper, and hops. The fact that my bottle was turbid and others are seeing this as clear might indicate that my bottle had some secondary fermentation, but I did not notice any "off" flavors or aromas, so this turbidity, at least in the case of the bottle I drank, was not deleterious.

Copper pour, tiny white head pretty much flat looking. Aroma is sweet caramel mixed with oxidation. Flavor is much the same sweet malty tatse, caramel, butter, which is leading to an oxidation problem. Hop bitterness is there but it makes it bitter and adds no flavor to this beer at all. I can’t finish this. Very bland, watery, and resiny bitterness with a buttery sweet lingering flavor.
