(Bottle) Pours a hazy amber body with a small off-white head. Aroma of baked caramel, cookie, and light florals. Flavor of caramel, mild hops, and toasted malt with a bitter finish. An OK ale…I suppose…

12 Oz Bottle via footy. Very bland pizza, bread yeast and stale beer aroma. Pours a deeper golden, edging on orange core, with silky soap of tinted white atop. Flavor is an average, bland weak hops and watered down sugar. A bit of hop cone resin and faded citrus. Texture is very thin and remarkably watery. No real off-flavors except for some weak corn touches. Some breadiness pervades towards a lime speckled smack. Meh. Not desirable.

Bottle thanks to cbkschubert: Pours a transparent copper bronze with a thin ring of off-white head. Aroma has a touch of lightly toasted caramel malt and some mild, earthy grapefruity hops. Body starts fairly full for the style with a nice, light sweetness, some bready texture and a subtle bittersweet finish. More of an amber than an APA, but a decent or OK beer.

Botle thanks to Cbkschubert. Poured a clear amber body with barely any head. Aroma is of slight hops with an odd cherry presence. Flavor is sweet and syrupy. Very malty but not as hoppy and had a bitterness to it but really no flavor. It wasn’t that bad tasting but it really seemed like it was a pale ale flavored water. The palate was decent and it was smooth. Very little carbonation. Maybe that was what is wrong with it.

Hazy amber out of the bottle with no head to speak of. Only a few struggling bubbles. Nose of caramel and hair spray. The initial flavor is water, followed by the grassy hops and bitter grapefruit rind finish. The flavors seem disjointed. Not very interesting pale ale.

Poured a hazy copper color with a thin off-white head. Very light hops in the aroma with a mild caramel malt. The flavor was bitter caramel malt and a dry finish.

Bottle from cbkschubert (thanks...I see a pattern). This is the first American pale that I’ve had that I didn’t like. Undercarbonated and flat in every sense of the word. Minute traces of malt with little hop action going on.
