The nose is cotton candy sweet, nice malt tone, with a hint of hops, crisp, fresh, and clean to the senses, the start is lightly sweet with a nice malt profile and the top middling in its feel to the palate. Finish has a benign acidity, the hops delectable in their spicy bite, the aftertaste dry and long lasting, a nice mild and refreshing beer for the hot Arizona summer. turbo (1254), Arizona, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 5, 2006 Updated: Aug 21, 2007Pours typical pale w/ shallow semi creamy froth that is shortlived. A very thin ring for lace is all you get. Aromas of crisp malts, flowery hops, and slight biscuit. Medium nectar w/ soft residual effers, almost creamy. Nicely balanced defined hopsy citrus rind and a decent malt backbone. A nice bittering on the finish sets you free for another bottle. I just noticed the alcohol is at 7%. I couldn’t even taste it. I’ll give it a point higher score for that one. Gregis (1136), Shawnee, Kansas, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 5, 2008 Pours a dark orange-brown (like a strong tea) with a creamy, pitted, beige head that deposits wispy lace on the glass. The nose is more like an ESB than an APA: dry, biscuity malt with earthy hops in the background. Light to medium-bodied and creamy on the tongue, transitioning to a bitter, lightly salty, and somewhat metallic finish. Again, the flavor is more like a well-hopped ESB than an APA, but I like ESBs. This is a solid session brew from the guys in Bisbee. CaptainCougar (5538), Rockville, Maryland, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 2, 2007 Bottle thanks to cbkschubert: Pours a transparent copper bronze with a thin ring of off-white head. Aroma has a touch of lightly toasted caramel malt and some mild, earthy grapefruity hops. Body starts fairly full for the style with a nice, light sweetness, some bready texture and a subtle bittersweet finish. More of an amber than an APA, but a decent or OK beer. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 30, 2007 Bottle from cbkschubert. Turbid orangy deep copper colored with 1-finger off-white head. Aroma of orange zest and marmalade, caramel malt, hops, peppery spices. Tastes citric, with malt, tangerine, mild black pepper, and hops. The fact that my bottle was turbid and others are seeing this as clear might indicate that my bottle had some secondary fermentation, but I did not notice any "off" flavors or aromas, so this turbidity, at least in the case of the bottle I drank, was not deleterious.
