12 oz bottle via Hellbilly (thanks!). Pours a hazy copper woth a small head and not much in the aroma derpartment, just a bit of crystal and some muted orange hops. Taste is not bad, pretty much an English style IPA. Some earthy spicy hoppiness, some apricot and orange follows a bit of biscuitiness. Could use more flavoring/aroma hops. Body is light, mouthfeel thin, carbonation is moderate.

Bottle from cbkschubert. Turbid orangy copper pour with 1-finger off-white head. Aroma is bready caramel malt, tangerine, hops, mango, some honey-dipped apricot notes. Tastes caramel malty up front, with mid-palate tropical, citrus, and hop notes, and some finishing syrupy fruity notes.

Bottle courtesy of cbkshubert. Slightly hazy dark orange/amber. Huge frothy head. Aroma again, not bad just rather weak. Faint caramel malt sweetness with just a hint of citrus zest. Flavor has a certain metallic charcater to it, doesn’t detract a whole lot, but notice it right off the bat. Decent citrus zest bitterness to balance the malt backbone, but again notenough oommmph. Very canadian/belgian like carbonated mouthfeel, if you know what I mean.

pours a rich hazy pumpkin pie brown with a thin whitish head. sweet grainy aroma with some copper and citrusy hops. strange flavor...where are the hops? sweet cereal grains dominate the flavor while raisins, honey, wood and some citrus hops hang around in the shadows. finishes sweet with a lingering pine hoppiness.

on tap at papago... apparently he is brewing again. this is NOT an ipa as i have learned... it*s a pale. that being said... additional aroma notes of peaches and orange while the flavor adds caramel-y fruit and very light resinous characters. score remains the same...

Thanks to jimbowood for the bottle. Cloudy, amber color. Smell of malt, over ripe grapefruit, copper, hops, cantaloupe, pine and minor caramel. Taste the same but lighter. Bitterness from the hops are the only thing that is special.

Thanks to cbkschubert. Dark copper pour, small white head that stays. Aroma is just caramel malt. Flavor is grapefruit and caramel with a ton of carbonation. The carbonation level is really just turning this to foam in your mouth but that’s not a big problem. The taste is just pretty basic, some caramel malt and some citrus. It’s not bad but the carbonation is a turn off.
