| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 1, 2006 Bottle: Dark orange color, light head and lacing. The nose is earthy with some pine and citrusy and a nice sweet maltyness. The flavor is thick and chewy with a light sweetness and resinous hop note. The finish is clean and dry, well rounded, with a bit of funk that accents the earthy complex hops. It’s a bit light in the hops and comes across fairly bland, but it has some body and malt notes that most IPAs lack. BeerHawk (1175), Huntsville, Alabama, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 1, 2006 Bottle from trade with cbkschubert. Poured a hazy amber color with only a wisp of a head that left the glass quickly. Very, very faint floral aroma. The flavor was of caramel with a light hop blend. Maybe a little grass in there too. Light body and a very light bitterness detected. Needs more hops!!!Thanks Craig! Immy (1912), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 24, 2006 12 oz bottle via trade with cbkschubert. Thanks Craig! Pours a hazy orange-amber with a tiny white head. Nose is very malty, bitter grapefruit scent. Weak, flat body. Mild malty flavor. What happened to the hops? More brown sugar than anything - should this be an IPA? SpringsLicker (2043), Tennessee, USA

Virtually no head on this. Dark honey color.
Almost no aroma of any kind. Some weak lemon maybe.
Dry thin watery. Very poor. goldtwins (4080), Nesconset, New York, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | May 24, 2006 Poured a hazy dark gold with a minimal head. The aroma started with pink grapefruit flesh but without the acidity/citrus component. Then came the smell of the old toy green runny stuff called Slime. There was some malt underneath. Very light flavor of malt. Mildly acidic and bitter on the finish. decaturstevo (1997), decatur, Tennessee, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | May 23, 2006 This beer was a bit odd all the way around. It was an amber/brown. Almost no flavor with very little carbonation and a weak palate. It had a strange paper taste to it. I’ve tried EBC beers I seriously wonder if this bottle was bad it was strange.
