12oz bottle acquired in trade with cbkschubert (thanks!). Poured a deep and slightly hazy orange color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of caramel, citrus, some pine and a ligtly floral. Tastes of caramel with light citrus. Sugary sweet and very lightly bitter. Struck me as more malty than hoppy.

Botlle courtesy of cbkschubert: Pours a slightly hazy copper orange with a thin ring of off-white head. Toasty sweet sugary caramel aroma has some earthy piny and grapefruity hoppiness to it. Body starts fairly full and sweet with a lot of caramel candy maltiness and some drier earthy bittering hops showing up toward the finish. Has some lingering astringency and slight metallic character, but really reminds me most of a malt extract homebrew. Not a bad beer, just not in the same league as a lot of other IPAs.

Bottle: Dark orange color, light head and lacing. The nose is earthy with some pine and citrusy and a nice sweet maltyness. The flavor is thick and chewy with a light sweetness and resinous hop note. The finish is clean and dry, well rounded, with a bit of funk that accents the earthy complex hops. It’s a bit light in the hops and comes across fairly bland, but it has some body and malt notes that most IPAs lack.

Bottle from cbkschubert. Turbid orangy copper pour with 1-finger off-white head. Aroma is bready caramel malt, tangerine, hops, mango, some honey-dipped apricot notes. Tastes caramel malty up front, with mid-palate tropical, citrus, and hop notes, and some finishing syrupy fruity notes.

Poured a hazy dark gold with a minimal head. The aroma started with pink grapefruit flesh but without the acidity/citrus component. Then came the smell of the old toy green runny stuff called Slime. There was some malt underneath. Very light flavor of malt. Mildly acidic and bitter on the finish.

Bottle from trade with cbkschubert; Nose is caramelly malts iwtha tiny citrus note; no hops evident; amber-orange with a very small beige head; Flavor was of caramel malts and the hops showed up decently in the finish, even though I couldn’t smell them.
