(Bottled) Dark cola-amber brown with a small, bubbly and tanned head. Spicy aroma of anise and licorice, with sweetish maltiness and hints of alcohol. Sweet-malty, caramely flavor with burned sugar. More convincing and fruity with yeast. Medium-bodied, slicky but quite thin palate with low carbonation. Ok for a bock, not that interesting as a beer. Nice name and label, though.

Aug 6, 2008 Bottle with an ugly label. Dark brown color. Milk chocolate and raisin in the almost vinous aroma. Chocolate flavor with caramel, just a touch yeasty, grapes. Actually not a bad beer at all, except for the saccharine-like aftertaste.

Apr 26, 2008 Bottle from Bier Koning. Nice amber colour. Medium head. Sour, malty and bubblegum nose. Very smooth mouthfeel. Taste of bubblegum, oranges and some citrus. Thin and fruity finish. Enjoyable.
