Growler shared at the Columbus Tasting V: Black pour with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, and some roasted malts. The flavor was a bit ashy, still the chocolate and roasted amlt elements came through. Nice body...bittersweet throughout...roasty...with a roasty bitter finish. Pretty decent.

Growler brought by ohiodad to CTV. Aroma of light chocolate and bitterness. Flavor was bittersweet chocolate and not much else, except for a little roastiness.

Draft at The Elevator. Poured black color with an average creamy brown head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Aroma was dark chocolate. Medium body with a creamy texture. Flavor was medium bittersweet with a medium dark chocolate finish of long duration. Solid drinkable brew.

Growler shared at the last c-bus tasting. Why, oh why did I slam this beer? Roasted malts and coffee aroma from a black body. Medium palate supports roasted malt and coffee flavors. Not too shabby, but lacks complexity.

Growler shared at the Columbus Tasting V: Black with a tan head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, some toffee. Flavor, chocolate and coffee, some roasty bitterness. For a brewer in my city, it’s about time I tried one of their beers.

Growler samped at Columbus Tasting V - Poured Dark Brown with a slight tan head. Aromas of chocolate, roasted malts, and coffee. Flavor is big chocolate upfront with some pleasant roasty notes behind that and some good coffee flavor as well. Palate is smooth with medium body and a dry roasty finish.

Sample from the Elevator. This is their January beer. VERY dark. Thick, chocolatey head. Decent lacing. Smell is very much coffee, as is taste. Definitely tasted like dark chocolate and coffe. Very hoppy. Very bitter finish.
