| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 7, 2008 Objectively speaking:
A brown ale with very strong honeyed influences.
I like:
Pleasant hazelnutty undertones, but dominated by very sweet honey.
I dislike:
Rather pale for a brown ale, certainly could not catch any roastiness. Sweet example, very sweet even, to the point that it’s rather hard to drink and the very low carbonation does not help, giving it a syrupy texture despite the generalized thinness. Tastes a bit underfermented. decaturstevo (2010), decatur, Tennessee, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 1, 2008 Sampler@ brewpub. Poured dark orange. Very nice looking beer. Aroma of sweet malt and honey. Roasted nutty flavor, hints of honey, a tinge of citrus. Finished moderately dry and bitter. Not bad at all, and I am not a huge brown ale fan. Drjohnrock (95), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
