Sample at the brewpub - Pours amber which I found slightly odd for a brown ale with a small offwhite head. Aroma is nutty with notes of caramel as well. Flavor is mostly caramel and nuts. Body was medium and light on the palate. Seemed to lack the body to round the flavors.

Smells nutty, and is brown. Could be a picture perfect beer for the style - it’s just not my style. Too malty I guess.

Pours dark amber with a small white head. Smooth, some nuttiness, not alot. Somewhat of a dry finish.

Dark red color, decent head but smells a little funny still. Maybe I’m put off after drinking the dopplebock, but this seems to have the same odd side to it. The flavor is also is rather relaxed and isnt nutty at all.

A very good nut brown ale. Good rounded nut flavors with good malty medium mouth body. Nice hearty aroma, good appearance.

This beer was a very dark amber color. It had a small white head with little lace. The aroma was of malt and slightly of chocolate. The taste was of malt and chocolate. Not a bad brown ale, but a little lighter than I like.

I didn’t think this was overly nutty. I rather enjoyed it. It had a dark, warm flavor.

Formerly known as Shifty Dando's. Very, very nutty! This was like drinking a peanut. Very sweet roasted aroma and nice color. Good lacing. The nutty flavor will really knock your socks off.
