Commercial Description:
Light and spritzy with a faint fruitiness, this traditional German-style wheat beer is a thirst-quenching drink served with a lemon. Try it with a hint of raspberry liqueur.

On tap at the Oakroom in Athens, Ohio and at Elevator in downtown Columbus. This rating is for the downtown pour, which was a little better. This is my favorite style and this is a good pour. It has medium to small head for the style and minimal lacing. It was served with a lemon on the side. Nice clove and a little banana. Not especially sophisticated or complex, but a nice session beer. I feel that this beer is underrated by others.

Draft at brewpub. Hazy yellow body, nice white dense head, clove/banana nose. Nice balance of esters and phenols with some citric hop notes; yeast really dominates in this one.

Light hazed yellow pour with white head and lace. Teaberry and corriander aroma. Full clove and corriander with other spices. Nice medium body and carbonation. Very solid for the style.

Nose of bananas & bubblegum. Pours a sparkling pale cloudy straw. The quick white frothy head leaves behind no lace. The start is sweet, the middle sour, and the toasted finish is sweet and tart with a high level of acidity. The light body is creamy and lively.

Sample at the Elevator. Very sweet smell. Light head, no lacing. Pale gold, cloudy. VERY sweet. Could taste the bananas right away. I agree with the rater who said it taste like a banana popsickle!! Hint of lemon in this as well. I actually liked this one a lot. It was my favorite of the samples tried. Sweeter then any beer I have had to date.

Pours a cloudy orange with a thin white head served with a lemon. A decent tasting beer, but I’ve had better hefe’s. pint draft
