Commercial Description:
This American style light lager is the fresh alternative to those other light beers. "Give me a lift!"

A yellow pour with a creamy white head and lace. A flavor of light malt with a semi sweet after taste. A tad thin and fizzy but very good for what it is suppose to be. A very solid refreshing brewpub offering.

Draft at brewpub. Light yellow body, smallish head, not much nose. Very clean, with limited hop character and a bready malt finish. Great example of the style.

Sample at the brewpub: Pours a clear pale yellow color with a thin white head that dissipates pretty quickly. Spotty lacing. Mild aroma of hops and hay. Light, dry body with a lightly hoppy character. Touches of spice as well. The finish is lightly hoppy and malty. Straightforward light fare.

Ultra pale yellow with mild carbonation under a short white head. Mild, pissy bitters in the aroma. Light bodied, finishing dry with enough bitterness in the flavor to keep this from being simply another lame pale lager.

Soft, vanilla cakey aroma with very very light vinegar. Pale banana gold. A little briney, lightly tart, milky. Light quick tart aftertste. Medium light to light body.

Draft sampler at the Elevator. Poured a clear straw color with a medium white head that diminished slowly. Light hoppy citrus aroma. Light body with a watery texture. Light citrus flavor with a soft short finish. Wet cold alcohol with some character.

Sample at the brewpub - Pours pale golden with a short white head that didn’t stay very long. Aroma of light citrus and grains. Flavor was light grains and not much else. Palate light and airy. Nothing to remember on this one. Seemed much like Sam Adam’s Light to me.
