| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 29, 2006 Draft at the brewpub: Shiny copper. Sweet and tart together at once. A starker version of their pale ale. Almost baked apple sourness at the end. Livens up a bit as it warms, as the moldiness settles into a bit more of a fruity bite. | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 7, 2005 A faint soapy aroma, but in a good way. A hoppy grainy taste that sustains throughout. An "easy" IPA and one to have again. OhioDad (2491), Hilliard, Ohio, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 9, 2006 Sample at the brewpub - Pours dark amber with a short foamy offwhite head. Aroma is mostly c-hops. Some grapefruit and pine both there but defintely not as dominant as I usually like in my IPAs. Flavor is malty at first. Caramel, and grains turn to a bitter floral and grapefruit finish. Palate is light and somewhat on the watery side. decaturstevo (2010), decatur, Tennessee, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 25, 2007 Served with a sheet-lacing ecru head over a deep yet clear copper body. Soapy florals above pepper in the aroma carry through to the flavor. I enjoyed it despite my scant notes.
