Commercial Description:
Because of the lack of fresh water, India pale ale was a necessity for the 18th century East India traders. Deep and rich with a distinct floral essence.

Nose of fruit, flowers, and pine. The brew is clear copper with ruby highlights. The white creamy head is mostly lasting & leaves good lace. Bitter and burnt flavor with a heavy citrus presence and a long finish. The full body is dry and soft. Very nice indeed.

A faint soapy aroma, but in a good way. A hoppy grainy taste that sustains throughout. An "easy" IPA and one to have again.

Pours a deep amber with a huge white head. Huge hop nose, strong floral and citrus. Taste is strong hops, slight raw hop, citrus with balanced pine. Finish is strong but smooth. Very nice.

Light brown-amber, lacing head. Sweetish caramel aroma. Will-bittered, medium fruit, medium sweet, well-balanced. Medium body, long bitter finish. Fair diacetyl. Well done.

Pours rich gold with thin white head. Nose is of grapefruit and slightly acidic. Hops predominate in this IPA, very American in character in that the hops (Chinook if I’m not mistaken) don’t allow much malt balance at all. More citrus in the flavor, long bitter aftertaste.

Draft sampler at brewpub. aroma of pine/hops/citrus, medium brown color, pleasant hoppy taste. Not bad at all.
