Poured clear amber copper color with a large white frothy head that lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate earthy hop and malt aroma. Medium body with a thin slick texture and soft carbonation. Light to medium bitter flavor with a light to medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration.
My expectations where just met. bgburdman9 (823), Columbus, Ohio, USA

Probably the worst named beer ive tried in a while, it was not over the top at all. Mild earthy grassy hop aroma. Decent amount of bitterness to it and a solid malt profile. This just didnt seem like much of an IPA at all. BeerBelcher (945), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jun 30, 2009 I had this on tap at Elevator; it was one of their monthly series of beers for "MBA" members. I was disappointed; there really wasn’t anything "over the top" about this beer. In a world chock-full of great IPAs, there is little reason to seek out this one.
Color was a dark-straw golden, with a pretty decent head and lacing. Aroma was fairly citrus-y hop, some maltiness. Flavor was some nice hoppiness that was not quite pungent enough for my tastes, some weak biscuity maltiness, with a pretty watery mouthfeel kind of diluting the mouthfeel.
I’ve certainly had far worse IPAs, but with so many terrific choices in hoppy beers, I’m not sure why you would choose this one. Not bad, but not really recommended. moejuck (1172), Ohio, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 18, 2009 On tap at the pub. Golden brown body with a nice head that left lots of lacing. Aroma was biscuity and very lightly hopped. Taste was very bready, malts and saaz type hops. Tasted like an american lager to me--and I didn’t finish the glass. Piss poor for an IPA. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 16, 2009 On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber with a medium white head. Spicy citrus hop aroma with a touch of malt. A bit of malt flavor up front, but mostly bitterness. Some grass and citrus, but mostly the extreme bitterness of grapefruit seed extract. Could have used a lot more balancing. 1010 (212), Marysville, Ohio, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 6, 2009 Pours a golden color with a nice hoppy aroma. A solid IPA however there’s nothing to really set it apart from others.
On tap as part of the MBA program.
