Clear light to medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, toffee. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. (310708)

Sep 9, 2008 Cask at GBBF08. Hazy dark copper colour. Fruity aroma, a little toffee. Rough bitterness in the finish.

Jul 5, 2008 Cask-conditioned at the King of Wessex (JDW), Bath 5/7/08. Deep amber in colour with no head. Earthy malt aroma. Full mouth feel with a subdued fruity flavour and short bitter finish. A bit dull.
